system restore

I have a problem with my pc and was going to restore to
an earlier point but the system restore programe only
goes back 2 days and will not allow me to go any further
than that (I guess the prioblem I am having is related to
the system restore problem!), does anyone know a way of
getting at some earlier restore points?

If the Restore Points are not there, there is no way to get back to
them.
Many factors determine how far back Restore Points go.
Your System Restore Settings, available hard drive space, computer
usage etc.
