15 min vid clip only plays for 3 min

HELP!!!!!!!
i have several video files of various types (avi,wmv,mpg...) when i try to
play them, i only get to see about 3 minutes. if i use the slidebar CAREFULLY
i can see more of the video. this is difficult, and time consuming. i've
tried several different programs to play them and always have the same
problem. i use windows media player, quicktime, real player.......the list
goes on.

any suggestions??

Dragonduk,
I had the exact same problem with MPEG clips. Go to
VideoHelp.com or do a google search for Virtual Dub. It will convert your
MPEGs to AVIs and it will play normal. You can also view the clips in
Virtual Dub as well. It worked great for me.
