my screensaver is set to go on after 1 minute and require
a password, so i can't watch dvd's on my computer. I
tried going to my control panel to turn off screen saver
but when i click on display it doesn't open up. The wait
icon pops up momentarily but then dissappears, so I can't
access any of the Display options! Thanks for the help
I'm really stuck.

You should be able to watch DVD's regardless.
Display Properties can be accessed by right-clicking the desktop >
Properties.
