Regarding 823559 and 817606 updates, are they safe to download and install?
I'm a bit leary of these updates. Thanks.

Hi Karen,
I installed both last night, and seem to be suffering no adverse affects.
One curiosity though, after the restart, both "My Computer" and "Network
Nieghborhood" were missing from the desktop - easily restored from display
properties/desktop tab/customize desktop. I'm not sure yet if this was
related to the security updates, got to experiment some tonight.
