Memory usage for explorer.exe

If I understand you correctly,if you are getting e-mail
downloads,you are always on the internet?If so your ad
blockers,antivirus programs,start menu(what ever you have
running in background),task bar,desk top and file manager
is all on.Not counting screensaver if you use one.Cleanup
your system (Check disk,defrag,ect;)and see if that
helps.You can also try www.tweakxp.com ...improves
performance.....Good luck
