I've been receiving low on disk space errors on my 15gb
c: partition. In pursuing who the disk hogs are, I
discovered that the "System Volume Information" folder is
> 1 gb. What can I delete out of this folder? I need to
reclaim the space.

Thanks,
Bob

Robert.
Nothing...directly.
System Volume Information is the System Restore data.
Adjust the amount of space System Restore uses from System Restore
Settings (left side of system Restore page)
The Default is 12% of hard drive space.
Turning on/off System Restore or using Disk Clean-up to remove older
Restore Points are only temporary as the allocated space will again
fill up.
See this link for more about system Restore:

You can also save space by deleting Windows Update uninstall files:
Once you are sure you will keep Windows XP Service Pack 1.
The files may be hidden, to show the file:
Go to C:\WINDOWS
Click the top TOOLS, click FOLDER OPTIONS, click VIEW
Check the radio button. "Show hidden files and folders"
Click OK and you should now see more files.
Go to C:\WINDOWS and delete "$NTServicePackUinistall$" about 240 mb.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs.
Click Service Pack 1, there will be an error since you just deleted
the file.
Click YES to delete the shortcut.
Use similar procedure to delete similar files for the updates.
