I just attempted restarting my computer and I got the message that =0A=
the system file "hal.dll" was missing. It said to reinstall it. How do =

do this or is there a better fix. It is an XP Professional operating =0A=
system. Any ideas? =0A=

If copying the file off the XP CD back to the HD as per Nicholas post
doesn't work then try a Repair Install as per instructions here "How To Run
a Repair Install" http://www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/repair_xp.htm
