I have just purchased a new computer that is running
Windows XP Professional and I have noticed that if I try
to connect to a printer that is shared from another XP
machine it will sometimes work and then after a time it
will then say that it is unable connect and I cannot re-
connect.
This is also happening to drive mappings I have to our
Windows 2000 server.
What I have noticed is that I had two network adapters
loading autoamtically which I assumed was causing the
problem with conflicts but I have disabled the one called
1394 and left just the one which has all my network
settings in.
Is anyone else having this problem and if so what did you
do to solve the problem?
Cheers
