Maintenance Wizard?

There doesn't seem to be an equivalent in Win XP Home. I
miss the convenience of scheduling a Scandisk (Chkdisk)
and defrag on my two 40 GB drives overnight. XP does it a
lot quicker, but it would be nice to have that
capability. I can find nothing in the Knowledge base
about this. Am I missing something?

There is no Maintenance Wizard in Windows XP.

1. Open XP's "Help and Support".
2. Look under "Pick a Help topic".
3. Click on "Performance and Maintenance"

I know there is no Maintenance Wizard in WinXP. I am
trying to determine if there is an equivalent. I have
followed your suggestions and am unable to use the Task
Scheduler for this purpose, so I must assume that there
is no way to schedule the computer to perform these
functions automatically.
