Upgrade your RAM memory to at least 256 MB but more RAM is
better, like up to 512 MB. Make sure air flow is good and
the cooling fans are working ok. Every 1-2 weeks run the
disk cleanup and error checking (chkdsk.exe) then run the
defragmenter. If update # 811493 is listed in your
add/remove programs, remove it, as it has problems.
