>Did you run the system file checker tool? Start<Run, and
type in this, sfc /scannow (with a space after the sfc) I
would install a good system utility program such as
Norton's or System Mechanic, then clean out the registry
and run a diagnostic test on the RAM memory. Even a
partially faulty memory module can cause problems. Also
open the case to check for loose components and/ or
connections, (esp. the RAM, video card, IDE cables)
