I recently downloaded updates from the official update
site and in it I got two Gator programs. I hear that
gator is not something you want on your computer and I
don't want any crap on my computer that will mess up my
computer. The programs were Precision time and Calender
Journal or some such crap.

You did NOT get gator through Microsoft. Stop spreading rumors.

Hi Matthew,

Not possible. The recent trip to the WU site may have caused you to take =
a closer look at the system where you discoverd gator, but it didn't =
come from there. But you are right about one thing - you don't want it, =
uninstall it.

Gator is a pain in the neck, because it it pop-up heaven. If you want a nice
little freeware form-filler that only fills forms, get Roboform (I don't
know the URL, but a quick search should find it for you).

The latest version of Roboform is not freeware. They don't tell you
when the update notice pops up that when you install it you change
your freeware version to a trial version with a 30 pass limitation.
