WRONG! Audio is data. That is why you can save .mp3 and .wma to a data
disc and they will play from the disc you just created. You need to know
what you are talking about before you post. Even commercial
audio CD's are data.

commercial cd's are data, BUT not the data you are
thinking of, they are displayed as cda tracks.

Saving a cd's song to mp3 uses compression from cda (
tracks ) to wave file and then to mp3, just because you
can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. and Vice
versa to make them into an audio cd.

NOW if you want to make an audio cd that you can play in
your cars stereo, use windows media player and
select a few, right click and press copy to audio cd.

(dont select more than 10 or 20 if they are short songs)

If you want to make a data cd consisting of mp3's or wma
files highlight them, copy them, then go to your cdrw
drive in My computer and paste them, click on the little
baloon and then burn them.

If it doesn't work you don't have cd writing enabled on
you cdrw, this can be done by clicking on the drive
pressing both "alt" and "enter" then go to recording an
make sure it is ticked!

Hope it helps

And how big is the cd you are trying to copy to?

(I would really like to see your computer twitch!)

First of all you need to read up on how to create cd's Are you trying to copy
the files to send to another computer or are you trying to make a cd that can be
played in a car or stereo?

I would use the CD Creator type software that came with your CDRW to do this,
they normally have wizards that will walk you through the process and show you
how much space is on the cd.

(Dont pick Data cd unless you are backing up the files or you want to move them
to another computer. You need to pick audio ify ou want to create a cd to play
elsewhere)
