Need SP2 cd

Is there anyplace I can download the SP2 CD? My friend is trying to install
a program and it keeps asking for it. The computer is new, and XP with SP2
came preloaded.

Hi Bob,

Your friend basically needs to put in the Windows XP CD that came with the computer.

Besides, download SP2 from:

Hi,

His ServicePackSourcePath entry in the registry is wrong. Adjust it to match
the actual location (usually C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles) under this key
here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Setup

Start>Run>Regedit>ok
navigate to:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MiÂ*crosoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Setup.
In the right pane, change the value of SourcePath and
ServicePackSourcePath accordingly.
