What is the way to get the XP update w/o having to wait
endlessly on hold?
Thanks, Rex

Rex;
You do not have to call for updates.
What exactly are you trying to do?

Please respond to newsgroup only for everyone's benefit.

Another ISP tech who doesn't know what he's talking about. Click on
microsoft update or go to microsoft support.

Easy there Rex.. You didn't say "Which Fix" you were trying to get - pretty
hard for anyone to help you without that information.. =)
Internet Service Providers do NOT normally send out anything telling you to
get Microsoft Updates. Very unusual. Do you have an IIS server setup or
something? If so, Microsoft recently DID send out a roll-up for it - but I
know of no updates you have to call for - usually those are ones where you
call Microsoft and they determine "if you need it or not"..
