View Full Version : Can't use Cleartype fonts

Howdy,
For some unknown reason I can't enable Cleartype fonts in the
Display Properties>Appearance>Effects the check box is greyed out and have
no option to turn it on, I use to be able to use it but now I have no option
at all.
Any ideas

Are you running the correct graphics drivers?

Hi Shane,
Right click My Computer icon/Properties/Advanced/Performance/
Settings/Scroll down to Smooth edges of screen fonts.....and place a check
in the box.
If it doesn't change the settings under Effects and it should, run either
edit on line 236: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
