On several occassions get a blue screen memory dump with
this info:
STOP:0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0X00000000, 0XF896DA24,
0XF896D724).
My search of the knowledge base did not define this code.
Another dump stated likely caused by device driver error
between Windows and AFS2K.SYS.
This is Dell computer bought in December, XP Home, 512
MB, and nothing really added since the purchase...yet the
problems just started in March. Not being a computer
person, not sure where to go from here to get fixed.

If searching for the code in the knowledge base comes up empty, try
searching the web for the file. First result for me was
http://www.driversearch.com/forums/sound/6108.html
I can verify that it is a driver for my HP 200i CD/DVD burner. My version is
3.1.13.875

I'd check the device manager to see what piece of hardware that driver is
for, then go to the manufacturer's web site for updated software. If you
still have trouble, uninstall all the software for it under add/remove
programs (about 5 HP programs in my case), then go to device manager and
uninstall the hardware. Reinstall with the latest drivers and software from
the manufacturer's site, or with your original CD followed by upgrades you
downloaded.

BTW, I'm not having any trouble with mine, so I'm not implying this is a fix
I've tried...

See MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for STOP errors at
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

Click on the "7E: Module Not Found" item in the left column.

Good luck
