I tried to swap my master & slave hard drives but due to my computer being a
Pentium 2, it does not recognize the whole large drive. So I attempted to
put them back the way they were. Now when I try to boot the computer, it
recognizes the drives, etc, but when Windows should start, it shows the
following error "Windows could not start because of the following ARC
firmware boot configuration problem: Did not properly generate ARC name for
HAL & system paths". Is there any way to fix this other than totally
reformatting the hard drive and losing all my info on it?

See if this will help, I think it might equally apply to XP as it does to
2000.
