security problem/?

My friend wants to send me a file to download a free online game. She does
but it says it is unsafe. How do i make it safe?(She is also someone i can
trust.

Greetings,

Messenger bases "unsafe" files depending on their filetype. To override this, simply
download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/extfix.reg

You'll need to complete shut down and restart Messenger for the change to take effect.
