Peter, if you have Outlook installed it obviously has
made itself the default mail reader. Go to Control Panel
and click on the Internet Options Icon. In the Internet
Options Windows click on the Programs tab. Look at the
email option. It probably says "Outlook". Click the arrow
button to the right of the dialogue box. A drop down menu
will appear. Select Outlook Express from the list the
click Apply floowed by OK to exit. You should now find
that Outlook Express has become the default mail reader.
Remember, though, that if you open Outlook a message will
appear asking if you want to make Outlook the default
mail reader. Make sure you click "No" otherwise if you
select Yes the default reader will be changed back to
Outlook.
Finally if you are happy with Outlook Express and it does
all that you want then stick with it. Microsoft Outlook
contains more features which are primarily focussed for
business users.

Hope this helps
