Hi!
I'm having problem for some time with Windows XP Cleary Type option.
So the problem is that I want to turn it off for god. I can do it in two =
places as far as I know... on desktop properies and system properties. =
But after restart clear type turns on!
I dont have any anti-spyware (only SpyBot) or any software preventing =
write to registry...
Is there solution to my problem?
Many thanks!

Start>Run>Regedit>Ok
now navigate to the following key:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Highlight on it(Desktop)
In the right pane find out:-
Value Name: FontSmoothingType
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = standard, 2 = ClearType)
change it's value to 1
Close the registry editor.Reboot
