new/improved update 811493?

I had uninstalled the original update 811493, as I was
having problems (I have norton...).

Just now I receive a new notice of a security update with
same number. Microsoft was working on repairing the
update. Is this the new/improved version which is coming
out, or the old one? I don't want to uninstall Norton
and reinstall it.

It's new and installs fine with NAV installed.

I would not reinstall this update unless the description says that it is new

It was posted the 28th of May and is version 2.0.

As I said, I installed it and it did not cause the systemic slowdown that
that 1.x version did.
