Now that I think all my programmes work well with Windows
XP Home edition, how can I make it start up in the same
condition, without having to use System restore, (My
Norton Internet Security gives me problems & start up is
slow Greatly appreciate any good advice

You say that all programmes work well and you want to preserve this state -
then you say you are having problems.

Why would you want to preserve this state if problems DO exist?
