Greetings from Belgium,

I am using Windows XP Professional SP 2!
I have a Pentax Optio 330 RS digital camera connectable
to the PC through a USB port!

In the past, when I was connecting my camera to the PC, I
used to hear a sound and, in Windows Explorer, an extra
(F:\) removable disk was appearing automatically!

Now, when I am connecting my camera to the PC, I still
hear the sound but, in Windows Explorer, the extra (F:\)
removable disk does not appear any more BUT if, in the
address input area, I do type F:\, I do see the content
of the "removable disk" which actually is the content of
the camera! It is just as if Windows Explorer kept it
hidden but does know that it is there!

I checked every possible (at for my knolewdge) things
that I could check: driver functions correctly without
any IRQ or DMA error, the USB port works fine, the
peripherals list does show the Pentax device, etc., etc.

What is going on? What did I do wrong? What can I do to
solve the problem? I would like to come back to the
previous situation!

Please, give me your advices!

PS: Ooooops!!! I was going to forget: I uninstalled
completely and reinstalled completely also all references
to the Pentax device following respectfully the Windows
XP prescribed procedures
