Microsoft replaced it 29 May 2003, few if any reports of problems with
the new version.

Causes a pentium 4 micro processor to run like an 8080. I.E. Very slow.
There is a new 811493 available now at MS.

[NoNoBadDog!]

despite what others have posted, version 2.0 was released on 28 May and does
not have any undesired effects like the previous version did. I installed
it on my three machines here, and it is running fine on all three; two of
the three were affected by the old version (slowdown). The new version is
okay to install and is available on the WU website.
