My problem is like described in the topic, once the desktop finally shows up after reboot, it flashes (screen goes black) several (2-4) times, all randomly. Sometimes depending on if i open an application right away or not and somethimes automatically.
The graphic card is a GeForce 5950FX Ultra of some kind and I'm using nVidias default drivers. I've upgraded the drives today to the latest version but without any success. Before that I uses drivers from december or so.
I could share more info about the specs, but I hope a more generic explanation like this one might work for now...
