The first thing I did after switching from W98SE to XP was
to go to Gibson Research Corp site and use his free Test
My Shields and Probe My Ports to make certain AOK, and it
was. I then found two Gibson awful warnings about XP so
downloaded his tiny fixes which were instantanously
installed to fix the glitch in Service Pack and also to
disable Plug&Play [the latter serves no useful purpose
once you are setup and not even then if you have the CD-
ROMs for your hardware and I do] --- this help? Bruce +++
