Does anybody know the details of the uninstall files in
$%SystemRoot%\System32\$NtUninstallQ******$\* ?

After verifying a successfule hotfix installation, can their files and
directory be safely removed?
What about the entry in Control/Add and Remove Programs?

Except for loosing the ability to uninstall, any other issues?

Thanks

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)=20
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's=20
excellent website for instructions.

Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix =
entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the=20
actual updates.

Thanks for the information...

I use 'qfecheck' to verify which hotfixes are installed. Is this effected?
