Disc Clean tool up in XP

Disc clean up not working, any idea's? Wizard opens but
after selecting <c drive> and clicking <OK> nothing
happens!!

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
