View Full Version : XP pro performance >> maybe cisvc.exe related

I have this problem (and worse) on one of my Laptops.
It is supposed to be fixed in a comming SP (I hope).
It has something to do with battery status I think and I
solve it for my lap top by first running on the batteries
until XP starts and then pugging in the Power adapter.
Sometimes I have to hit the power on/off button in the
middle of XP running and restarting with the above
proceedure before I can get rid of the 100% CPU
utilisation. If this is happening on a desktop then I
have no idea what you can do.
