How would I remove SuSE Linux on a dual boot system with xp

Where can I find a tutorial to do it

Once you boot from the CD follow the instructions until you get to the
part where you see all the partitions on your hard drive.

Also I am refering to this guide

I am going to completely uninstall SuSE Linux the reinstall is a dual
boot as a way of increaseing space

Also I found these too would they help but they look oudated and when
I remove Linux won’t I have a huge space of blank space which I could
merge into XP

Its a dual boot with Xp and Xp is the primary install with SuSE as
second in one hardrive

you would have to basicly totaly destroy your partion table, and the
nrewrite it so that the NTFS partion fills the HD, in doing this you
will lose all data on the drive. Althought it isnt hard, just put XP
boot disk in, when you get to the partion seclection menu, delete all
partions on the HD, and make a new one that fills the HD, but as i
said, doing this will erase all data on the HD. If this is what you
mean, then OK. But your post is a bit confusing, please clarifie.

QUESTION!: Why would you want to remove SuSE, it’s far better then
windows, the only problem i have with suse is that ATI dont make
propper Linux drivers for my graphics card (9800) and that CUPS (wiht
out upgrade) dosnt support my printer.

Would this be it

1.Go into windows administrative tools, delete all non-ntfs partitions


2.Run fixmbr either from windows or windows repair console to
overwrite GRUB

Also could you describe step 2 more indepth because I don’t understand
that

I don’t want to remove XP and I am dual booting with Windows Xp Home
and SuSE Linux 9.3 and I want to reinstall suse with more space since
partitioning doesn’t work

Upon reevaluation of your prediciment, i think what you are wanting to
to is dule boot XP and SuSE cohesivly. What you need to do is install
XP FIRST!!!, thats very important, and use the partion menu in XP to
set up the partioning you want. Then, once XP is instaled and running
happily, begin instalation of SuSE, SuSE (been a most excelent
product) should automaticly detect that windows is installed and
automaticly configure dule booting for you, so every time you turn
your computer on, a nice colour full menu apears asking whcih OS you
want to use. By default it will boot SuSE after 8 seconds, so you may
wish to look for the boot manager config dure in instalation and set
windows to default IF YOU WANT. Also, if YaST gets it right, you
should be able to access your windows partion from SuSE, but READ
ONLY, in other operating systems (such as FreeBSD) reading NTFS
partions is extremly experemental, since microsft dont like to help
open source developers work cohesivly with windows. In SuSE reading
NTFS partions is quite safe, but you CANOT write. Not even if you are
SU’ed.

Ye, if you are going to eedit your partion tabel with out using
partion magic (whcih in my personl opinoion is anoying and crap) then
you are going to lose all data on the drive. for this you WILL have to
reinstall BOTH OS’s. My Current standing is that i have an 80GB HD,
whcih i have partiond so that it has 38(ish)GB X 2 partions, one is
NTFS and otehr is RASIER (for SuSE) and 1GB for SWAP (SuSE vertual
memory) which works very well, plenty inof space for SuSE and windows
:D

Also, when repartioning dure in windows setup, only make 1 partion,
becasue then YaST will automaticly see what free space there is, and
use it.

Remember that once you have delted all partions on that hard drive,
only make 1 using the windows setup partionare.
