All of a sudden I cannot keep a system restore point. I
look and all I have is the checkpoint listed when I
started the computer that day. Later I check and I have
no restore points listed. I am wooried because I do some
stupid things and NEED restore. Help, Thank you

Paul;
Many things can cause this issue.
One of them is Real Player.
If you use it, quit for a while and see if issue goes away:

It can also happen if there is corrupted data in System Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes all Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
