Simple question?

Can anyone please tell me how to keep 2 windows open so
that as soon as I click on one of them, the other one
does not minimise and have to be opened everytime.
I need to be able to keep both windows visible all the
time as I am copying/pasting from one to the other.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. (not to mention
saving me a huge amount of time)

The way I do that is to Tile the windows (you can do it either
horizontally or vertically). Right-click the taskbar, select Tile
Windows Horizontally (or Vertically, your choice).

There's a few ways to do this.
-- Instead of maximizing the windows, use "normal" size. Overlap the two
windows in a way that there is always a portion of each visible on the
monitor. To bring either window to the forefront, click within its
visible areas.
-- Press Alt+Tab to cycle through your open windows.
-- Right click the taskbar and choose Cascade Windows or one of the Tile
Windows choices.
