Hello,
I'm trying to troubleshoot why a specific program will run on Windows 200 &
XP with SP1 but not on XP with SP2. This is a program that is on a site,
very basic little thing, you click the link to open the file and it's
supposed to run and it does beautifully on systems NOT running XP with SP2.
The problem? Most of the world is now running XP with SP2. Any help in
identifing the problem and providing possible solutions would be most
helpful. If you need specific's please e-mail me at:
and I'll provide them.
Thanks in advance.

The solution may be as simple as setting IE6SP2's pop-up blocker to
allow pop-ups on the web site in question. Or it could a
security/permissions issue, as SP2 has tighter security than either
Win2K or WinXP SP1. Have you contacted the developer of the web page
and/or application to see if there are any specific security settings
required to render the application SP2-compatible?

Some of the above are very technical in nature but may point to the right
