View Full Version : Services using 100% of Memory

Yesterday I installed wireless networking on a laptop
running XP home. Everything was fine until I tried to
boot up this morning. Now the computer never finishes
booting up because some services are using 100% of the
memory. I tried restore, but that didn't work. When I
look at the task mananger it appears that SVCHOST.exe and
DADTRAY.exe are using the memory resources. After about 5
minutes I get frustrated and shut the computer off. Any
help???

Hi, Ernie.

Because only Dell has the Dell DirectAccess Tray - DADTray, for short.

Search Google for "dadtray.exe"; it just gave me 7 hits.

You're the second poster that I've talked with today with this problem. :>(

Talk to Dell! They can't help you if you don't contact them.
