I am a new windows xp user and get a message on startup -
Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisk2\DR12 or
\Device\Harddisk3\DR26. If I press cancel it
disappears. Not sure if its connected with my shutdown
problems - I get to screen showing windows is shutting
down then system hangs and I have to power down manually -
hence not going through correct shutdown procedures.
When this happens every time I go back on I have to
reinstall broadband connection.
I thought the problem may have been caused by a startup
initialization file or service and had a look at Msconfig
program yesterday 1st June However I was unable to
identify problem and reset Mscongfig to normal startup.
But now my System Restore function will not go back any
further than yesterday . HELP!
