Disc Cleanup

In most cases,no utility runs for more than 10-15 minut-
es,at most.Anything more,somethings not right.Try going
to cmd prompt,(tools),at the curser type:CHKDSK C: /F
(C: being the hd),it should reply,run at start-up,enter
Y Then type:EXIT when it returns to original text.
Restart computer,on desktop again,go to run,type:
cleanmgr Then start diskcleanup utility.

This is actually a know problem with XP and the Compress old files section of
Disc cleanup


If you look on google for Kelly's Korner -- a great site There is a script to
run and fix the registry
