The pointer on the screen "refuses" to show when I turn
the compuer on. I have to choose a new pointer setting
and re-start the computer to get it to activate. Is
there a way to make the setting "permanent"... or is
this a flaw I have to live with?

Mouse pointer?? How do you select a new pointer setting and restart??
