Hello,
OS is XP pro and Using Office 2002.

Can anyone tell me what an In-Place Upgrade is and when it is appropriate to
use it. I find programs running on my computer seem to freeze (outlook and
IE) after the computer is idle for 20 minutes or so, and I was wondering if
this would fix it. All the power settings are turned off.
If I do an in place upgrade will I need to reinstall programs or lose data?
Thanks,
Leonard

Perform an In-Place Upgrade (Reinstallation) of Windows XP =
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=3Dkb;en-us;Q315341 =
everything should remain as it was (mine did) but there are no =
guarantees. Backup important stuff.
