Outlook express...unable to delete any messages????

I need help. My outlook express is haywire. I can write,
send, recive, and forward messages, but I am unable to
delete them. The delete button is dead. I tried it by
right clicking the message, drag-and-drop, and using the
edit menu. NOTHING. any ideas??

Close OE
Go to Start search and search for *.dbx
You will find one called Deleted items.dbx
Delete it and empty your recycle bin
Restart OE
