errors

My roommate was downloading items off of kazaa. Afterward
I noticed several errors occuring. My internet and
folders have been dramatically slower to load and I have
lost the ability to put my comp on standby. I have run a
thorough scandisk and norton to attempt to find the
problems to no avail. Please reply with any info that
might help to restore my computer to its normal working
state.
