Recently I have been having problem with puter. When I type "regedit" in
the run box, the registry opens for a couple of seconds and then closes.
The same thing happens when I press Alt, Ctrl, Del. I submitted this same
problem previously and someone said it may be virus. I done update on virus
scan and checked for virus. None present. Anyone have any ideas what the
problem might be?

Thanks
Lewis

Hi,

Start/run cmd

From the C prompt, run this:

copy %Windir%\regedit.exe %Windir%\regedit.com

Then open a start/run prompt and run regedit.com, see if this opens it.
