Recently I did a couple of system recoveries (XP version and HP version).
How do I know if SP2 is still there or not?
Thanks
John

Hi

From Start>Run type

winver

or right click om My Computer and select Properties. Either option will
tell you which Service Pack is installed.

The XP version of system recovery may not undo SP2. However, HP's version
depends, usually it is similar to a clean/repair install which should have
removed Service Pack 2. To confirm this, right click My Computer and select
Properties. Here you should see Windows XP Service Pack 2 listed.

Control Panel -> System -> General
Under the label "System:", it should say "Service Pack 2", if it is still
installed.
