Can't down load

Hi,

Have tired every idea to find out what is wrong. I have not been able to
down load my updates for Windows XP. I have gone to books and help in
windows.

The error I get X Not All Updates Were Installed.
811492: Security Update (Windows XP)
Q815021 XP: Security Update
823559: Security Update for Microsoft Windows
817606: Security Update (Windows XP)

I do not know why this response is going on. Please advise how to resolve
the problem.

ben,

if the update refers to a knowledge base article you can call up that
article by changing q175/6/62 to the kb

article number that the update refers to.

so, for example to see what kb815021 is all about, you would enter the
following string ...

highlight and copy the following string :

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q815/0/21.asp&NoWebContent=1

and pase it into start - run

then select ok ...

does any of this make any sense to you ??
