Have you tried Spybot before?
Does a nice job of sniffing alot of pesky marketing
nonsense from a PC. Free to use, I love great shareware.

I run both constantly and they are very easy to use.
I'm critical of my connectivity for online flight sims so
i also defrag daily before I shut down.
Keeps me sane from concern over surfing the web or where
others might use my pc as well.
