View Full Version : Very slow boot & can't use System Restore

You might try a few totally free spyware utilities.
I'm not a re seller and do charity work helping people
with pc difficulties often.

I hate macafee & nortons because they hog alot of
resources and usually cause more trouble than they solve.
I've been using AVG Anti virus from www.Grisoft.com for
about 5 years. I've mnaged to help about 200 people I
helped over the years to it. Best of all it is free with
all of the updates regularly.

SpyBot S&D (http://security.kolla.de/) may find if you
have some sort of odd trojan marketing tracker on your
system causing this trouble.
I found gamechannel installer slowed me down alot.

Adaware 5 (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) is another great
tool for eliminating marketing spyware.

All are very easy to use without intruding on your system.
