CD & DVD Repeating Content on XP SP2

CD & DVD Repeating Content
I got CD writer and DVD writer in my XP SP2, Pentium 4.
The problem is when I put any CD or DVD in the drive and opens up My
Computer and click on the drive some time it shows me the last contents of
the CD or DVD. I tried to refresh the window but won’t help. It also stop
showing start up OPEN options window when u insert CD or DVD.
Any kind of help would be Gr8.

I am having the same issue with both my CD/DVD drives (so it doesn't seem to
be related to a particular brand of drive, I have Sony and Plextor). I asked
the Plextor tech support and they responded that it seems to be related to
Windows. I mention this to let you know you are on the right track. I hope
someone will respond with some info or a fix. I have to reboot everytime I
want to refresh the data view on my disks. What a pain.

Microsoft's Autoplay repair wizard _might_ fix this problem. See this post
from Alex Nichol, MVP.
