::::::::DDE SERVER WINDOW HURTS ME::::::::::::

Whenever I try to shutdown the computer , a window appears and says that DDE
SERVER WINDOW can not be ended, then the End Program window appear which is
trying to end this unknown program (for me!)
This has slowed down my computer during shutdowns and I really do not know
what to do

can any want be of my assistance?

Try this:
Click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, and then click
Administrative Tools.
Double-click Computer Management, double-click Services and Applications, and then
double-click Services.
In the Details pane, click Network DDE.
On the Action menu, click Properties.
On the General tab, in Startup type, select disable, and then click OK.

I noticed on the Microsoft web site that this problem is addressed for
NT in KBA 244056 and that there is purportedly a fix for this for NT
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;244056). Do
you know if Microsoft has a fix for this problem in Windows XP?
