Keep an eye on how long between connection and
disconnection. Sometimes changes can be made to timing
settings in modems and if you have a one-way connection
of some sort eg, satellite or some cable systems, the
modem part isn't actually receiving any data and thinks
the connection is dead, so it disconnects. after a
default time. Mine was 20 min and it took me a week to
realize the problem.
