I have seen a couple of similar posts but no
replies/solutions yet. I am experiencing constant and
regular (every 1-2 seconds) mini hangs when the cursor
freezes momentarily then releases. When I run task manager
at normal update speed it doesn't show anything abnormal
but at high update speed it indicates 50 - 100 % CPU
utilisation. The processes that appear to be clocking up
are explorer.exe, lsass.exe, svchost.exe and csrss.exe. If
I reboot it sorts it our for a few minutes but then
returns. I am running AMD Athlon 700mHz, 512Mb RAM and XP
Home (with all critical updates)- I virus check and thanks
to previous forum help have a clean spybot and ad-aware
record so I am puzzled. Any suggestions/fixes would be
welcome.
